Artevo Fine Art Company Secures Reproduction Rights and Targets US Market

Artevo Corporation invested heavily over a 7 year period advancing Artevo “Art Evolved” into a fine art industry leader through the development of a world class website and securing significant reproduction rights from some of the leading artists of the world.

Several innovative Artevo art galleries were established within Canada including a 20,000 sq ft. flagship gallery in Calgary Alberta that hosted numerous gala art exhibitions for up to 500 people.

With the onslaught of the recession Artevo began encountered problems when sales of artworks declined dramatically, also significant damage was caused to the Artevo gallery by an adjacent excavation and when the gallery was declared unsafe by the City of Calgary the business had to be abandoned.

This was a very unhappy situation for all that were involved, despite the challenges of the recession Artevo had reacted quickly and had devised a workable survival plan, however the building issues were complex and could not be dealt with,, “said Christopher Talbot”.

In December 2009, Alger and Associates were appointed as receivers of Artevo Corporation and the assets were sold to “Artevo.Com Inc” which is owned by a small group of private investors including Christopher Talbot the former CEO and founder of Artevo Corporation., Artevo framing, reproduction facilities and art gallery have relocated to a 9,000 sq ft. facility at 6999 11th St. SE Calgary.

Christopher Talbot and many former employees are now working diligently to realize on the Artevo vision of offering our customers unprecedented access to a vast range of pre-selected artworks from the leading artists of the world.

Several special events are planned including the art of Dr Seuss and two major exhibitions by Toller Cranston which will be held at the new gallery and the Manitoba Museum.

Artevo now plans to enter the US market and continue to expand the range of artworks being offered by Artevo through a dealer network and website.
