A 35-year-old Malaysian national man will appear in the Sydney Central Local Court today charged with possessing crystal methamphetamine “Ice” and dealing in over $400,000 in proceeds of crime.
Australian Federal Police (AFP) arrested the man yesterday following a surveillance operation in Strathfield where approximately $300,000 in cash was seized.
AFP officers subsequently searched the man’s premises in Blairmont, Campbelltown where they located approximately 90 kilograms of “Ice” and approximately $120,000 in cash.

“Through this operation the AFP has prevented approximately $14.4 million worth of methamphetamine hitting the streets of Sydney”, Commander Stewart said.
“A significant amount of cash, alleged to be the proceeds of crime, has been seized and the AFP will continue to investigate the source and ultimate destination of these funds.”
