Bank of America Online Website Crashes

The Bank of America’s online web portal crashed for up to 4 hours on Friday sending user support lines ringing off the hook.

A reported glitch on the website itself caused the user meltdown with people unable to access their online accounts. This disruption in service had no effect on Bank of America ATM’s and bank outlets throughout the nation.

At first it was thought that only a few states across the country were affected by the glitch. In due course it became quite apparent that the bug had spread nationwide and all the states had been impacted by the bug.

Service was restored after the 4 hour down time, with no official reason given as to why this prolonged delay occurred on one of the busiest days of the week. Many account holders who tend to move monies around on the last day of the week and prior to the weekend, but were unable to do so.

Some online account holders are complaining that they can still not logon successfully, while others are stating that the web site is loading extremely slowly. BOA is offering quick support through the social medium Twitter to all its online customers who are experiencing any problems.
