Cairns, QLD, Australia – (News4us.com) May 03, 2012
Bluewater at Trinity Beach is taking cue from the environment to kick off its 2012 seminar series with an insight into smart, sustainable living.
Bluewater’s customer relations and marketing manager, Emma Kelly said she has secured an expert panel of local building industry professionals to provide valuable information and answer questions about building an energy efficient, sustainable home.
“With the rising cost of living and threats to our precious environment, never has there been a more important time to consider energy efficiency and sustainability – particularly where our home and lifestyle are concerned.”
“At Bluewater we have been working with professionals in the industry to address some of these concerns and have been impressed by the local expertise and solutions that are currently available.”
“We want to share that with our community and any prospective home buyers and builders,” she said.
The panel is as follows:
Rachel Whymark – Kenick Constructions – “Building a Sustainable Home”
Rowan Blizzard – James Hardie – “Sustainable Construction”
Amanda Spelta – Placid Pools – “Eco & Energy Efficient Swimming Pools”
Wade Allen – Naked Energy – “Renewables”.
The free of charge seminar will be held at the Bluewater Sales Suite, 68 Reed Rd, Trinity Park from 5.30pm for networking drinks with presenters before beginning the official presentations at 6.00pm.
Each speaker has a 15 minute presentation slot. The presentations will conclude at 7pm with a 30 minute question and answer session.
