Bill Langis is a professional artist, who started drawing on a daily basis at age 13.

He became inspired to draw after seeing a friend’s older brother create comic book superheroes just like those in Marvel Comics.

After seeing what someone else could do, he decided that day to go home and give it a try himself and within that first week, he was hooked, as he experienced firsthand how rewarding drawing could be, and ever since then, he wanted to be an Artist.

Bill’s primary tools at that time were pencil, ink, and prismacolor colored pencils.

Later he added pastel to fill in larger areas and backgrounds.

The subject matter varied from comics, cartoons, people, animals, music posters, and fantasy art.

Soon he worked on his style and different techniques to gain better control of his tools.

Some years later he had the opportunity to visit Yellowstone Park and this opened up a whole new world of drawing animals and landscapes.

The trip inspired him to draw animals in their natural settings, which seemed to have awakened long repressed genes that somehow connect human beings to the time when they lived in caves and drew pictures on cave walls.

Bill say’s, “I never had an urge to do landscapes before, but what I saw at Yellowstone was simply amazing, and as a result of my trip, the creativity seemed to flow so naturally and effortlessly”.

He further say’s, “the experience made drawing so much fun and interesting, and now I am always looking for new content, and subject matter, which I add to the members’ area of my website weekly.”

This is one of the ways students can benefit from the shared drawing experiences from Bill and the other students, when they sign up for his lessons.

After experiencing the wildlife in their natural, awe inspiring habitat, he felt compelled to learn to paint in oil, which enabled him to better capture creatively the beauty that he saw visually, and bonded with spiritually.

Within a couple of years he had added painting mastery to his skill set.

Based upon his experience, Bill saw that there was a step-by-step process to learn how to draw and paint.

The process is very similar to the way an infant learns how to first crawl, then stand, then walk and finally run.

The brain has plasticity and will learn new eye hand coordination with continued effort and practice.

And similar to how most people learn how to run, they can also learn how to draw and paint.

Subsequently, Bill had many requests to teach children and adults how to draw and paint.

Some wanted to learn: how to draw animals, how to draw a horse, how to draw a lion, and others wanted to learn pencil drawing techniques.

Bill received so many requests that he decided to develop video lessons aimed not only at people who have never drawn or the raw beginner, but to intermediate and advanced levels too.

These lessons are available on-line, and offered at such a low and reasonable price that almost everyone can afford them.

Bill has taken away every excuse of what people say to them as to why they should not learn the creative art of drawing and painting expression.

Now, thanks to Bill, there is no excuse not to learn the pleasurable art of drawing and painting.
