“This beat machine is dope,” says music producer Drumma Boy, who has helped rocket many modern artists including Drake, Kanye, and Lil Wayne to international success.

“I got one.  I use it.  I support it.” Drumma Boy isn’t alone in his opinion.

He is joined by several famous recording artists and music producers in his praise of this new, versatile software being offered to the public.

BTV Solo was created as a collaborative effort between two moguls of the music industry, Dallas Austin and Bob Ezrin.

What do the creators have to say about BTV Solo?

“My partners and I spent years building this thing and I’m glad we did because what we finally ended up with is what we set out to do – which is build a production tool for professionals and the public that is easy to use.”

“So just about anybody who is in the business of making music can use one of these things and up their game significantly,” says co-creator Bob Ezrin.

Ezrin has worked with several famous names in music, most notably Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel and is behind Jay-Z’s fade to black.

“The sounds that are in this thing are amazing,” he continues.

“We spent years collecting them . . . and it’s not just about hip hop beats and loops.

There are some really strange, wonderfully useful sounds for pop and rock production, which is how I primarily use it.”

As a record producer, Ezrin spent years collecting and creating the unique sounds injected into musical masterpieces like Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

From using household objects or various electronics, he spent years amassing the sounds now available for play on BTV Solo.

Like most music producers, Ezrin is constantly on the road.

When he and Dallas Austin formulated the idea for the BTV Solo software, they wanted to make a product that would be versatile across several platforms such as Macs and PCs and that the technology itself would be portable.

Because they understand the mobile lives and demands of modern music artists, both Ezrin and Austin made sure that the beat-producing software was compliant with portable devices like laptops so that artists as well as up and coming producers “have a tool at their fingertips wherever they happen to be.”

Jon Platt—the Vice President of EMI Music Publishing—says that, “If Dallas is involved, it’s got to be good.”

Other modern music artists and entrepreneurs such as Tricky Stewart (Grammy-winning producer of Beyonce’s Single Ladies), “Commissioner” Gordon Williams (multiple Grammy-winning sound engineer and mixer), and Jermaine Dupri (producer for Janet Jackson and Usher, amongst others) all personally back BTV Solo in their own glowing BTV Solo Reviews.

BTV Solo is the music wave of the future.

Be sure to catch the wave at BTV Solo’s public release on the 20th of March, 2012.
