Below are prices for eight days’ parking in July (16-23) at Gatwick.

We have compared the cost without pre-booking at the on long stay car park with pre-booking, booking a park and ride (or off airport) car park, meet and greet parking and the rate for a night at a Gatwick hotel with eight days’ free parking.

We have included the saving compared to not pre-booking and the typical transfer time to the terminal.

Options for 8 days parking in July 2012:

On airport not pre-booked: £92 (typical transfer time 10 minutes)

On airport pre-booked: £65.10 (30% saving; typical transfer time 10 minutes)

Off airport parking and ride: £54.00 (41% saving; typical transfer time 10 – 15 minutes)

Meet and Greet: £54.00 (41% saving; no transfer time)

Gatwick hotel with parking: £78.00 (15% saving; double room at a 3 star hotel including free transfers, typical transfer time 10 – 15 minutes).



By comparing options and prices, and pre-booking Gatwick parking, holidaymakers can not only save up to 41% this summer, they can also save time.

Meet and Greet parking was a cheap on our dates as off airport (park and ride) and £11.10 cheaper than the best on airport long stay price.

Better still, this comes with no transfer time, saving at least 20 minutes on the journey to and from the airport.

Or holidaymakers can save 15% compared to the gate price and stay overnight at a Gatwick hotel with free parking, a premium of just £12.90 over the best price of the on airport long stay car park.
