Elegant Evening Affair for October Wedding Expo
QLD, Australia – (News4us.com) October 05, 2011
Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club is set to host its annual wedding expo as an elegant evening affair on Friday 28 October 2011 between 5pm and 9pm.
A new event and highlight of this year’s exhibition is destined to be its fashion parade featuring 10 local brides wearing their own gowns.
The 10 contestants will no doubt relive treasured wedding day memories while vying for a chance to win a luxurious, two night ‘honeymoon’ style break at Sea Temple Resort and Spa, Port Douglas.
Every bride to be that registers attendance at the expo will be in the running to win the major prize of a $1000 fireworks package from A Bright Nite Fireworks.
In breaking from the tradition of all-day, weekend exhibitions, Paradise Palms’ evening soiree was introduced last year with resounding success.
“We are pleased to continue with our new concept that aims to bring the best of Cairns’ bridal industry together under one roof – making it easier for those confronting the daunting task of hosting a wedding.
Our main objective is to provide a helpful and inspiring showcase that is also an enjoyable experience,” said Angelique Schesser, Wedding Expo Coordinator.
“We are blending business with pleasure as the perfect finish to the working week for brides and grooms to be.
Visitors will be able to leisurely look through all the bridal options on display while enjoying a glass of bubbly or dinner before they head home to enjoy the weekend.”
Paradise Palms has secured a very exclusive range of exhibitors from wedding fashion and flowers through to cakes and cars.
“Our exhibitors have been hand-picked to showcase the best of the best available,” she said.
The event will begin with Bucks Fizz (champagne and orange juice) on arrival followed by canapés as guests wander through the Club House.
The Fashion Parade will run between 6pm and 7pm followed by a display from Pole Play Studios on the garden terrace and fire dancing on the rainforest green.
