  1. All nanny resources seem to be recycling the same information again and again (interview, check references, perform background screening) yet fail to adopt additional screening tools which are widely used in other industries.

    Personality assessments, such as NannyTest, can contribute to better screening of caregivers and reduced risk. Yet, except Au Pair agencies which are required to use such tests by federal regulations, personality assessments are rarely, if at all, used in screening nannies or babysitters.

    Personality tests are used for screening employees in banks, retail stores, security companies and various other corporate and government organizations. Are those employees more critical than a nanny taking care of one’s kids?
