The software developers of Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick Studios have released their eagerly awaited new app game titled, Fish out of Water.
Halfbrick’s initial two games, Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, have enjoyed a high download rate with over 500 million downloads and winning numerous awards along the way.
Fish Out of Water appears like a cross between Angry Birds and Tiny Wings where participants will get to flick a fish as far as they can while skimming it across the water.
There are also loads of powerups and things to collect throughout the level to help keep players completely absorbed.
The levels in the game are dynamic, with the different types of weather affecting the nature of the water and the fun and colorful obstructions alter as you advance through the levels.
At the close of each game, a group of five crabs will generate scores that are averaged into your total score.
Fish Out of Water has been released on the App Store for iPhone/iPad today.
This popular game app has been described as fun, accessible, cute and easy to play, with very ambient and relaxing water effects.
All the fish behave differently, and you have to throw three fish per round, so it becomes about calculating the best strategy to acquire the highest points.
A big selling point for the app is that users can compete against real-life friends to see who can win the most trophies
At a price of 99¢, this new game app for the iPhone/iPad is anticipated to undergo tens of thousands of downloads within the next 24 hours.
