Noval Foundation Honored by Beverly Hills Mayor with Official Proclamation Issued for Dedication to Ending U.S. Embargo with Cuba

Mayor Jimmy Delshad has issued a Proclamation on Monday November 29, 2010 honoring the work of the Victorino Noval Foundation. The Mayor cited the work of the Noval Foundation “who is dedicated to ending the U.S. embargo with Cuba and ensuring the freedom of Americans and Cubans to participate in travel, trade and cultural exchange.”
The Proclamation honors the dedication of Victorino Noval Sr., who the Foundation honors for his brave stand against communism in his adopted country of Cuba. The Proclamation recognized Victorino Sr.’s efforts as an anti-communist fighter in the CIA supported GILA group in Cuba. Victorino Sr.’s efforts necessitated his receiving political asylum in America and his subsequent move to Los Angeles and building a successful career in commercial real estate.
Beverly Hills Mayor Delshad honors the Foundation for its work in promoting the goals of freedom and friendship between Cubans and Americans which is being bravely carried on by his son Victorino Noval Jr., and the Victorino Noval Foundation.

The Victorino Noval Foundation was created in memory of Victorino Noval Sr., who was born in Asturias, Spain, and died in Los Angeles, California, May 7, 2010.
