Oklahoma Wesleyan University Ranked Among Top 100 Colleges in U.S.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University was ranked among the Top 100 colleges and/or universities in the nation to produce minority/Black/Asian/Hispanic/American Indian baccalaureate/graduate/Associate degrees.
The annual “Top 100 Degree Producers” report was released by Diverse: Issues In Higher Education.
OKWU has students from countries all over the world including Serbia, Colombia, England, Mexico, Ethiopia, Germany, Brazil, Canada, and Russia.
“We’ve worked hard to reach out to diverse communities and bring them in to the OKWU family,” said Dr. Everett Piper, President of OKWU.
In addition, Piper asserted that the diversity at OKWU is also a reflection of the complexity of the body of Christ and is a testament to the beauty of God’s creativity.
“Oklahoma Wesleyan University wants to mirror the fabric of our culture,” said OKWU’s Vice President for Student Enrollment Services, John Means.
“With that as a focus, we are committed to recruiting youth of all ethnic backgrounds. This gives our University a true learning environment that is reflective of the communities around us.”
Oklahoma Wesleyan University is a four-year, Christian university of the liberal arts and sciences that is accredited by the North Central Association.
OKWU also receives professional accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
It is a member of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities as well as the Council of Independent Colleges and Universities and the Association of Oklahoma Independent Colleges and Universities.
