Over 200 Custom and Classic Vehicles on Display for the 3rd Annual Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet and the Indy 500 at the Brickyard, rare, historic, custom and classic vehicles will take the field at the 3rd Annual Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance on Sun., May 15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Marin County Fairgrounds, Marin Civic Center, San Rafael, CA.
Along with more than 200 cars on display, vehicles in 18 classes will be judged by automotive experts and enthusiasts. Vendors of the latest automotive products and services will also be on view.
Tickets are $ 20 at the gate. Children 16 and under are free, and must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is free. No dogs except service dogs allowed. Food will available to the public for purchase from several local vendors. Wine sampling is $ 15, which includes a commemorative wine glass. Highlighted vehicles this year include:
The last surviving 1929 Raise the Roof Chevrolet house car, forerunner to the pop-up camper, which headlines a lineup of vintage trailers and early motorhomes.
Among the featured Indy race cars will be the Andy Granatelli Kurtis roadster, which placed 4th in the 1953 Indianapolis 500.
A rare showing of historic American Bantam coupes, sedans and Speedsters microcars, made in the 1930s and early ‘40s, including an extremely rare 1941 Boulevard Delivery.
A flotilla of beautiful classic wooden boats moored in the Civic Center’s lagoon.
